Become a Table Captain
Help provide a nurturing home for our youth by hosting a table at our Heart of the Home luncheon! Through this event, you and your guests will learn more about the Children's Attention Home, the youth we serve, and how you can help provide the resources they need. Our goal is to raise $200,000 and reach 250 guests. Will you help us make this goal a reality?
As a table captain, we are asking you to:
(1) Fill one table of 8 people. There is no charge to attend the luncheon. During the program, guests will be asked to consider making a meaningful gift to the Home.
(2) Being present and enthusiastic about raising support for the Children’s Attention Home.

FAQ's
How do I add or remove people from my table? You will be able to invite new people, cancel invitations, and see who declines your invitation in your online portal. Once a guest confirms, you are not able to remove them from your table. If a confirmed guest needs to be removed, email development@attentionhome.org.
What if I need more than one table? If you have more guests to invite than you have space at your table, never fear! Create another table and start a new table of invitations. Once we get closer to the event, we can consolidate your tables and combine people as needed. Keep in mind that each table will need a captain or host, and you will only be able to sit at one table.
Can I communicate with my guests through the online portal? Once you enter your guests' information (first and last name, email) you will simply click "Invite" at the bottom of the screen for an automated invite to be sent. At any time, you are also resend your invitation.
What do my guests receive when I invite them to my table? Here is the invitation that your guests receive when you invite them through your table portal. If you would like, you can invite with a personal email and then follow up with this formal invitation.
What happens when my guests decline? If you guests select decline or you cancel their invitation from the portal, they receive an email with the opportunity to make a donation.
Do my guests need to bring their tickets? No, their names will be on a list at check in. If they would like a ticket, all guests will be emailed a confirmation with an attached PDF ticket.
How do I register others to be table captains? Easy! Just have them register through the event site by clicking "Become a Table Captain" and follow the steps. See the slideshow above for more details.
How do my guests invite others? If you have guests that would like to invite their friends or connections, they can tell their guests to simply RSVP through the main site. When guests register, they can select the name of the person who should receive credit for their gift/registration, either your name for the table or their friend's name.
